Ok so some good news and some bad news... The good news is that I'm on vacation next week and going home to New York woo! I say going home because while I love my current Florida home, New York will always be my true home. I can't wait to go to see my family and friends, and enjoy the sights that I can photograph... but alas that brings me to the bad news. About 2 weeks before I leave (which is on April 12th), my camera decides to die. I took a picture, and it never came back... no responses, just a continued quiet clicking on the inside. The only way I could get it to turn off was by just removing the batteries. I know I could get it fixed, but honestly it's not worth the effort on a point-and-shoot camera. But it was the best point-and-shoot camera I've ever had, so maybe some day soon after I return I'll open it up and tinker with it. In the mean time, let it rest in peace.

In the meantime I've picked up a nice Canon Rebel for a great price, and am just waiting for a CompactFlash card to arrive in the mail to start using it. And so without taking pictures, I've created some simple and straight forward stamps and a separate account to keep them, mainly because I don't want them cluttering up the rest of my stuff.
