U.S. currency hasn't had any significant changes in design in a very long time and even though they've made some upgrades in recent years to prevent counterfeiting, the designs are still pretty plain and outdated compared to the rest of the world. After seeing some entries in redesign competitions online I decided to make my own. I tried to keep some aspects traditional but with a modern design.

The $100 bill: The theme is symbolism. On the front is Ben Franklin and The First Great Seal. The back features the Second Great Seal. These symbols are both featured on the back of the current one dollar bill and felt they should remain on currency (despite all the conspiracy theories ). There are fifty stars surrounding the pyramid, representing the 50 states. 13 of those stars are on the inner circle representing the original colonies.

Security features include a vertical holographic strip with microprinting, color-shifting ink and watermark. Each denomination features a different amount of raised marks to assist the vision-impaired with telling each one apart.
